A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side is marked with a red ring. The Gut side should screw into a cut thread of a workpiece by hand, without extra force. If not, the thread doesn't meet requirements (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side can screw in up to two turns by hand. More than that, the thread is subpar. A reference temperature of 20°C applies to parts and gauges. VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
