The Ladle Hot Spot Detection (LHSD) system employs cutting-edge infrared tech to oversee the temperature of ladle steel structures. Up to five infrared cameras monitor the ladles as the crane passes the inspection point. Temperature readings are fully automated, needing no manual input. If ladles bear suitable markings, each can be identified and linked to its data. LHSD triggers an alarm when a preset temperature limit is exceeded, effectively preventing hazardous and costly ladle breakage.
